Hi @Misia. It's nice to see a new face around the Forums.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention and I'll be helping you to get access to your account. Since this shouldn't happen, I'd recommend to try the following steps:

  1. On your phone's settings, tap on Apps > Fitbit > Storage > Clear Cache.
  2. Then go back one screen and tap on force stop.
  3. Uninstall and reinstall the Fitbit app from the Play store.
  4. Reboot your phone.
  5. Open the Fitbit app and try to log in one more time.

Let me know how it goes.

Hi. I was able to log in but for the last week I have had the old sleep
pattern. I have rebooted the fit bit itself and reinstalled the app too.
Thanks for your help.

Hi @Misia. Thanks for getting back.

I'm glad that you were able to get access to your Fitbit app. Thanks for the steps tried to get your correct sleep details. If you're referring to the sleep stages, there are some factors that may affect how your device generates this information. For this reason, please make sure of the following conditions:

  • If you slept in a position that prevented your device from getting a consistent heart-rate reading or wore it too loosely. For best results, wear your device higher on your wrist as described in this help article.
  • If you used the Begin Sleep Now option in the Fitbit app (instead of simply wearing your device to bed).
  • If you slept for less than 3 hours.
  • If your device’s battery is critically low.

If this doesn't apply to you and the sleep stages are still not generated, I'll need you to provide me with the model of your Fitbit device as well to verify if the heart rate is being recorded correctly.

I'll look forward to your reply.

I have a Charge 2. It seems to be fine monitoring my pulse.

Not sure what to do. Thanks for your help.

Hi @Misia. Thanks for replying back with the requested information.

Since the factors that prevent your Charge 2 from generating the sleep stages don't apply to you, I'd recommend to give a try to the following steps:

  1. Open the Fitbit app, tap on your profile's icon > Charge 2 image.
  2. Find the heart rate setting and turn it off.
  3. Tap on sync now to apply the changes.
  4. Restart your Charge 2 to refresh its details.
  5. Turn back on the heart rate settings and sync one more time.

Try using your Charge 2 for one more night making sure to wear it snug on your wrist as described in this help article. If the issue persists, go to the Fitbit app > sleep tile > recent sleep log and take a screenshot of the message displayed in there. Check this post for instructions on how to attach a file in your reply.

Keep me posted.
