Unable to login on the Fitbit app

Can not log into my account on my new phone Samsung A71 does not accept my e-mail or password no issues with old phone Samsung A50 or on my laptop

Thanks for the details about the login difficulty. Are you able to login on the Fitbit's website? If you're getting an error message saying that your username does not exists or password is incorrect, I recommend you to select the option "Forgot Password?" on the Fitbit app so you can receive an email with the option to reset your password.

I had already done that but a bit of perseverance by the wife managed to resolve it.
