Unable to set target sleep schedule

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have an additional problem since updating. I am unable to set Target Sleep Schedule under Sleep Goals. Whatever I enter is ignored and it reverts to the default of 12:00 am for both Bedtime and Wake up Time

Hi @Jim12, good to see you around. Perhaps you may need to restart the app. For this I recommend to log out from your Fitbit account. After this you can either force quit the app or restart your mobile device and once it has loaded, go back to your Fitbit account and try to change your sleep goals again.

This should do the work. Let me know if it helps.

I'm am also unable to set sleep goals or reminder. I've restarted everything a few times. No change. I also had 0 sleep time logged for last night ( my 2nd night of wearing my new alta hr) maybe it's a larger issue?

Hi there @Nace13, welcome to the Fitbit Community and my apologies for the late response. I'm wondering how it goes? And are you seeing some error or any other behavior that doesn't allow you to set Sleep Goals or Reminders? If this is related to the app you mentioned that you have tried to reset everything. Have you clear the cache of the app if the issue still persists?

This steps are similar to my previous post, but with the addition you have to clean the cache of the app: Access to the App manager option and look for the Fitbit app in your downloaded apps list. Once you are there, clear the app cache and data and proceed to "Force Stop" the app.

Regarding your sleep time wasn't logged, I would like to ask if the issue persists. By the time you posted this, we had a sleep outage and some users were affected. The workaround for this was to edit the sleep log adding one minute to your time for your Dashboard to recalculate the sleep time.

See you later and keep me posted if the issue still persists.

I have the same problem except I only have the remove and cancel option when I am editing the time. It must have be there before because I had the times there. I don't know if it was changes since my last update or not. My current Firmware Version: 17.8.402.1.

Please advise. Thanks.

This is the same problem I have. A new Fitbit Charge 3, running the app on Android, when I try to set the Bedtime I have only the REMOVE and CANCEL buttons - no way to save the time?

It's been two days since I posted - are these forums actively moderated?

I get the same options. Remove or cancel. No ability to save or edit target sleep goals. Been this way for months. Please fix or advise how to change them, please.

I am having this same issue on my new Versa Lite. Has anyone gotten an answer or a fix?

I got it to work. Here is how...
I followed to the procedure of logging off my Fitbit account on my Windows 10 laptop, and closing the app on my smartphone, re-booting my phone and then put the sleep schedule in via the Windows app. Then sync my phone to it.
 - It remained 12:00 am-12:00 am UNTIL I synced the laptop with my Fitbit Versa Lite.

This did not help.

Just received my new Charge 3 and the Bedtime / Wake Up Time settings seem to be set in stone - 10 pm and 7 am respectively.  The setting drop downs have only Remove or Cancel functions but no Save.  Looking at the history of this particular problem it is clearly time this was sorted out.

I had that issue, but I made my screen size smaller and to the right is
another button. I hope this helps

You are an absolute star! I have just wasted an hour with Fitbit Help who
went down the 'Reset everything' route then told me my phone wasn't
compatible! Strange when it had set up all the other functions no bother.
Many thanks. I will sleep easily tonight.

Finally fixed issue without any help from Fitbit tech support. They were actually no help at all. Anyway, my fitbit wasn't tracking my sleep and I wasn't able to set my sleep settings, because the "ok" wasn't visual on the clock used to set and save sleep and awake times. Problem??? The clock was to large. The "ok" was still there, but couldn't be seen. Fix??? Once time is chosen tap far bottom right corner and time will be set and saved.
