Unable to setup Charge HR with Samsung Galaxy S10

I would expect Fitbit to keep up to date with all modern phones. My Charge HR will not connect.

Solution please.

Hello @Davideh, welcome to the Community Forums, it's a pleasure to give you a hand with your difficulties.

I appreciate the information that was shared in your post. Let me share with you that the Samsung Galaxy S10 is not currently listed as a compatible device with our products and services, therefore, you may experience certain connection difficulties with it.

I'm aware that some users are able to use non-compatible devices with our Fitbit products, however, we cannot ensure a proper function of all its features due to this compatibility concern, Fitbit app and Android updates. That being said, even though your mobile device is not compatible, please give it a try to our help article: Why can't I set up my Fitbit device? and let me know how it goes.

If by any chance you're still unable to use your Fitbit with your mobile device, I suggest you to try with a compatible device or a computer instead.

I'll be here if you need anything else, please keep me posted.

Dear Ricardo

I find your suggestion hilarious.
You are suggesting I change my top of the line, latest technology phone to make your out of date device.
I would suggest you get your engineers to get working on some updates instead.
Meanwhile I have invested in a very nice Garmin that embraces new technology.
Many thanks
David

Hello, despite being listed as compatible now I cannot get my charge hr to connect to my new galaxy S10. It asks for the 4 digit code and I can get that far but it never connects. I have tried many solutions listed online multiple times. Before this phone I had a galaxy S7 that it connected with just fine. Any new solutions?

Did you receive a reply or fix to this issue?  I've had the same problem, given up a few times and pulled it out of the drawer again this morning.  Purchased phone beginning of March, date on Fitbit shows May 10 today is 07 29 2020 and I have tried what I think is everything to sync with no luck and times out.

Need help & frustrated.

I actually just got it working yesterday! (8/3/2020) After inputting the
code like usual I left my phone and fitbit together and didn't touch them.
It was about 25 minutes before it finally got past the connecting screen
and works now. I didn't do anything different, it just finally worked. 😕

No way?? I've tried countless times, I'll try again later today my battery
needs charging. Maybe Fitbit has done some sort of update to keep up with
the newer phones.
Thanks for letting me know.
