Unable to setup wallet

I am trying to set up a new Versa 2.  I think everything is connected now except for the Wallet feature, which I am interested in using.  I am using a Samsung S7, and in the app I am tapping on the wallet icon, then the "get started" button, and it gets stuck on the "Connecting..." Screen.  I have also tried restarting the app and restarting my phone.

  1. Force quit the Fitbit app.
  2. Uninstall the app from your mobile device.
  3. Make sure that the Android version is up to date.
  4. Reboot your mobile device.
  5. Reinstall the Fitbit app.
  6. Login using your account credentials.
