I can't even use my ionic now...it won't sync so I can't even turn the bloody thing on. Drama...

To better assist you with this, can you please clarify if your Ionic isn't turning on or not syncing? If your device is not turning on, can you please let me know if the heart rate sensors are still flashing or is your device completely unresponsive? You can check: Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging? to try some troubleshooting steps.
If syncing, I recommend you to check how the syncing procedure works here and see if there's a missing requirement on your Android mobile device that's preventing the syncing procedure to be completed. Then, you can move forward to the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: Why won't my Fitbit device sync? and let me know how it goes.
