Fitbit Versa 2 won’t sync to android (9) but will sync to iPad. Phone blue tooth connects spasmodically as does wifi . Obviously a software problem. Who to blame, Fitbit or Android ?

Hi, @Mobile1 , your Fitbit can only pair with one device at a time. I have exactly the same set up as you: an iPad and an Android phone. I find that the sync fails if I have Bluetooth on on both devices. If I want it to sync to my phone I find I need to make sure the Bluetooth on my iPad is turned off. I would recommend trying that and seeing if it helps.
Good luck and let us know how it goes. Welcome to the forums!

Hi @Mobile1, welcome to the Community Forums!
Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for the details that were shared in your post. In addition to the helpful information that was posted by @Julia_G, I recommend you to check how the syncing procedure works here and see if there's a missing requirement on your Android mobile device that's preventing the syncing procedure to be completed.
Then, you can move forward to the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: Why won't my Fitbit device sync? and let me know how it goes.
Let me know if the issue persists and if you have any additional questions.

Sorry, @Mobile1 bluetooth protocol doesnt work that way. It would be possible to add a setting in the Fitbit app to tell the app not to connect to tracker
