Today is the fist time my note 5 is not syncing with my Alta fitbit. It gives me an error that says can't connect with live...

Welcome to the Community @Sexyricanfranny. The reason why your tracker is not syncing with your Note 5 is because this phone is not compatible yet. Our team still testing the compatibility of it. In the meantime, I recommend syncing your tracker with a computer or with a Compatible Mobile Device.

@Sexyricanfranny -- UPDATE: The Galaxy Note 5 is now listed as a supported device here. I recommend trying to sync again and/or following these troubleshooting tips if you continue to experience issues.
