Using galaxy s7 as a mobile tracker device

Is this going to be a compatible device for using as a mobile tracker?

 

Main thing that I would like is the footstep recording on the dashboard you can get on other phones such as Iphone 6.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @Murasaki888. It's great to have you here. At the moment I wouldn't be able to tell if this phone will be compatible, the characteristics it could come with nor whether it will be available to use with MobileTrack. I would recommend checking on a later day the list of Fitbit compatible devices. If support has been added to the Samsung Galaxy S7 it will be shown there and if it can be used as a mobile tracker it will have the following statement.

Thanks Edson, do we have any updates on this. Or even an ETA when S7 MobileTrack will be supported on fitbit? it has been 3 months that I am tracking this thread but no updates. Is it even on the roadmap to address this? Many thanks in advance!

Thanks for joining us @faisal123. I'm afraid there are no updates at the moment. You are welcome to join a discussion about adding the Galaxy s7 to the list of supported devices. If you would like to add a different suggestion you are welcome to create a new thread in the Feature Request board. If any update is available it will be communicated as soon as possible.
