Versa 2 not syncing with phone

I am having trouble getting my fitbit versa 2 to sync. I have confirmed the blue tooth connection and also tried to sync manually but nothing is working. This is very frustrating. All day sync is turned on.  I also cant figure out how to turn the fitbit versa 2 off and back on. I thought maybe doing that would restore syncing. Help!!

Let me help you syncing your phone with your Versa 2. Which phone are you using? Is it compatibleYou can try the following:

 

  • Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  • Restart your phone and restart your device
  • Check that no battery saving app/feature on your phone is affecting your Fitbit app.
  • Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.

Hi. I am not sure how to restart my fitbit and I did turn off my phone and turn it back on. What finally worked was me just plugging them both in and sitting them next to each other to charge.  Thanks!
