Versa 2 not syncing

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I've had my versa 2 less than a month and I keep having troubles with syncing. This time around I can't get it to sync even though I've unistalled the app, restarted my phone, unpaired etc etc etc

Why does it randomly stop syncing? I am so frustrated with spending so much time over trying to get this thing to work! I wish I just stuck with my Charge 2!

Hello @SunsetRunner, welcome to the Community Forums!

First, I appreciate your effort and patience for troubleshooting this situation prior to posting, I totally understand how frustrating this matter can be for you but I'm here to help you with this. That said, if you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check how the syncing procedure works here and see if there's a missing requirement on your Android mobile device that's preventing the syncing procedure to be completed.

Also, you can move forward to the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: Why won't my Fitbit device sync? and let me know how it goes. Please make sure that your mobile device is compatible because due to a compatibility concern you can experience connection difficulties.

Keep me posted, I'll be around if you need anything else.

This article doesn't give a fix. The linked articles give no information. Why does the versa 2 constantly not sync. I can't rely on it to send notifications. I'm using a Samsung Galaxy s10+, the app is up to date, the versa 2 has the most recent firmware. The thing has one job, and it doesn't do it. I decided to hold it past it's return date, in hopes this would be resolved. There hasn't been a firmware update or anything. Do not buy.

Since I changed my phone from iOS to Android couple of weeks ago, I have the same problem.

My Versa, having issues with sync. I think the problem is It doesn't show connected on Bluetooth all the time. It connects via bluetooth at first then it desyncs from bluetooth. Unless I turn on All Day Sync. All Day Sync eats up battery like crazy, running in background constantly syncing via 4G or Wifi.

On my old iPhone 6S Plus, I could chose when to sync the device, and it kept the versa paired on bluetooth. It kept showing versa in blue tooth.

You would think Android will get better support after Google buying Fitbit 😄

I use all day sync, it doesn't help it stay connected. For example, it's on
4 hours disconnected right now. The only way to get it to resync, is to
turn off my Bluetooth, then back on.

When does FitBit plan to meet with Amazon's Kindle support to resolve the issue of pairing the Versa 2. I have owned my Versa 2 since receiving it as a Christmas gift and have not been able to sync it yet. I don't know how many days it will store, but if not more than a couple of weeks, I have lost all my activity goals to show to my employer. There seems to be a battle of between FitBit and Amazon and no one wants to think about us consumers who cannot afford all those fancy iPhones to be compatible just to sync up our activities goals we work so hard to achieve. Is there a chance FitBit might be a good guy and open up with a solution to Amazon, so we can all benefit from your product? I have worked my tail off to keep up with my goals, but not being able to sync them defeats the purpose of setting goals in the first place. I have put the Versa 2 away and went back to my Blaze and Charge 2 because they at least sync my results. What a shame to have the Versa 2 and not being able to save the results.

Exactly the same issue, then when I try to sync it can take ages if it works but then it still has issues with spotify

Why release a product upgrade if it doesn't work with common devices. I
don't have the money to buy an iPhone and all that stuff just to sync the
Versa 2. I think it would have been a better idea to just downgrade to the
Versa and have it at least sync. Don't need all the Starbuck's pay and Tips
stuff, just want to workout and track it.

Best wishes.

I have Versa, not Versa 2. It's not sync - ing, as well. I have to turn on all day sync in options then it syncs. But it drains battery faster then watching video, because it is constantly in sync. Every step you take, heck even if you don't walk around it keeps the sync "state" (couldn't think of better word atm) .

Usually my batter lasts me 2 full days before I need to charge. With all day sync it only lasts around single day. I have to put my phone to charge at night. And I've bought Samsung Galaxy M30s , 6000mAh Battery beast. I can't even imagine what you guys are going through.

Agreed. I think FitBit should just work with Amazon to fix the Bluetooth
issues for us and move on to help us rather than just telling us they got
the listed devices to work with the Versa 2. It does us no good to have to
buy more electronics to see our progress. No wonder the new years
resolutions end by the end of January or before Valentine's Day. People
have Christmas to pay for and a new iPhone in the near future just to see
if your heart rate is worth a darn. Ha Ha

Best wishes.

My Versa2 will not sync in my house, but will sink with my Samsung S10+ when away from my house. It is like something is blocking bluetooth syncing in my house. Any suggestions?
