The app and phone will not Sync. I've had to restart both in order to get them to sync. Is there an update I'm missing? I thought that the issue was resolved.

Thanks for letting us know that you tried to restart both to get them to sync.
I'd recommend that you try to follow the steps listed in this help article. They should definitely work in getting everything to work correctly. While some of them you have already tried, please try going through all of the steps listed in the article.
