Versa not syncing with LG Stylo 2V

Haven't been able to sync since 9/16 with my LG Stylo 2 V. I am beyond irritated with the constant updates. One day syncing works...then they do another freaking update and it doesn't. Is the issue? Then I try to call CS and get someone who, of course, cannot help. Tells me that my phone is no longer supported with the app but lets still try to sync. What? Why are we trying when you just told me it's not supported? I'm done wasting my money with Fitbit.

Hello @JMP7113, welcome to the Community Forums!

Thanks for sharing your thoughts and personal experience with the syncing difficulties you're experiencing with your non-compatible LG Stylo 2V mobile device, I totally understand how frustrating this matter can be for you.

Just as per previously mentioned, the LG Stylo 2V is not currently listed as a compatible device with our products and services, therefore, you may experience certain connection difficulties with it. I'm aware that some users are and were able to use non-compatible devices with our Fitbit products, however, we cannot ensure a proper function of all its features due to this compatibility concern, Fitbit app and Android updates.

That being said, even though your mobile device is not compatible, I recommend you to check how the syncing procedure works here and see if there's a missing requirement on your Android mobile device that's preventing the syncing procedure to be completed. Also, you can move forward to the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: Why won't my Fitbit device sync? and let me know how it goes.

If by any chance you're still unable to use your Fitbit with your mobile device, I suggest you to try with a compatible device or a computer instead. The input that was shared on your post is appreciated.

Keep me posted and let me know if you have any additional questions.

I have the same issue.  What is extremely irritating is that I never had an issue with this until the last month.  I feel like I have wasted my money as well.  Not everyone has the money to have multiple devices to try to sync their fitbit to.  If I had been able to tell this was going to happen, I would have never wasted my money on a fit bit.  That being said, I can sometimes get my phone to sync if I shut my phone off and back on several times.  Will a patch be eventually created to address this?
