Walk/HikeMap not uploading from MobileRun

Just back from a long hike.   Started tracking on MobileRun and on Charge2 (belt and braces approach).   Took photos on my phone and switched back to Fitbit, checked it was running, checked the map was moving forward as we moved.  Finished hike, stopped MobileRun, stopped Charge2.   Did not close the app.   Got home, synced, no map.   Have had this issue previously, sometimes I get a map and sometimes not (even when I don't take photos).   This is so frustrating.   Can anyone help, please?

Install v 2.42, MobileRun works fine in it.  All versions since then (last 12 months or so) are broken.

 

You can get 2.42 from APK Mirror.  I'll reply to this with another post with the link.
