Watch/app steps mismatch

It's been nearly a month with the watch and app not having matching step counts. Is this ever going to be fixed? Is Fitbit/Google going to do right by customers and give us a credit on our premium memberships? This has really been going on far too long. When are we going to get a solution? ARE we going to get a solution?
