With the installation of this new update, why is all history being either deleted or not displayed? For example I am a 9-year Fitbit member and my weight data is no longer available prior to the last 2 years. I enjoy looking at trends seeing where I've been and where I am at. But this information is no longer displayed when changing time ranges.

I've had to log out, wipe data etc at least twice already today - the weight graph hasn't worked at all the entire day. Shows the bare minimum of data, compresses the three month view into a garbled mess and the year/all time graph is worthless. Only reason I bothered logging out was to clear problems with calorie count inaccuracy and water log not updating. It's a farce, this app.

I have found the same horrific information today too, all of my historical weight data has been wiped from my fitbit history, I has used an aria scale regularlt since 2013, these changes deleting all that historical data are just gone to the wind. This is hugely problematic and seems to have happened with the removal of the old fitbit Web interface
Edit. I had an older phone with an old version of fitbit, accessing the data from this device seems to have made most of the data availible in the new version after scrolling through on the old app and waiting for the measurements to load. I then went through 3 month periods in the new app and waited on each segment. Now i can at least see the averages and old measurements in the new app. The new view is still terrible and borderline unusable, but at least my historical data isn't completely missing anymore.

I've discovered the point at which the weight graph goes from functioning to limited. I'm regularly logging out/wiping app data etc because the weight graph stops working (side issue of calorie count/water intake etc not updating). It works OK for a few hours then this screen appears when I open the app -
then when I open the weight graph again - it's back to the awful limited dysfunctional one. Something is happening at the point that screen pops up which is affecting the weight graph. Worth mentioning to the devs @LizzyFitbit?

Hi, I can report that the issue is still going on. I have a Pixel 8 Pro, Fitbit version 4.38. Latest android installed.
I can only see weight data from 2025, I have been recording weight for over 10 years

Is there any resolution to this? Despite being marked as an answered question, the availability of weight data remains an issue. I can only see weight data and trends from 2022 onward despite having a history on Fitbit dating back to 2015. Where did seven years of data go?

This did it for me! I was on the phone with FitBit support and saw this response. In fact, the support person (a very nice person named Carlos) had me walk through the steps so they could capture this as a solution.

The reccomendation basically boils down to:
To get my data back I did this after also:
It may be that one or the other of these worked together. But I would especially start a google takeout export and wait for it to finish, and download (you will get a google email when it is done) and save it to your phone. This takes a few hours to show up, but i think it may refresh things in the google system. Even after this it will take a few minuites per 3 month period to re load them into the new fitbit.

I've also downloaded the takeout data but frankly have no idea what to do with any of it or what it means in the format it's arrived. Can't even find weight data in it. it's also taking up several valuable gb on my phone. The weight data is loading properly now though for the past 12 or so hours 🤨 🤔

I downloaded the takeout data, and weight isn't in there.

I've tried these methods and can see all the manually entered data (actual weight, not average) in list form since I started in 2021, but still am only seeing an average weight for each year and no trend line at all. Has anyone been able to get back the trend lines for the different graphs in the app?

Hi everyone, and a warm welcome to our new members.
Thanks for your continued feedback. I understand where you're coming from and I apologize for the inconvenience this has caused. I'd like to share with you that our team is aware about the issues with the Weather tile, and they're working on it. While I don't have any updates, rest assured that I'll keep you posted as soon as I heard from them.
In the meantime, please make sure to keep your Fitbit app updated and device syncing so the rest of your details can stay updated.

As far as I can see, you only see individual measurements when stepping down to the 3 month graph and lower, with average measurements in the yearly and all time views. The trend lines have also been removed. I agree the regression in the presentation of weight data presentation (not Weather, as in the last fitbit update) is a huge issue. Other regressions that are frustrating: the removal of the very useful weight vs lean mass single view, the inability to show a custom range of dates in the view, the removal of BMI scale, and (long gone) the removal of the ability to add other measurements such as waist circumference to plot, also the ability to change which account a measurement is for in the Aria scales. The attitude of google towards their weight measurement lineup is honestly incredibly frustrating, and has meant that I have had to stop recommending Fitbit to friends and family.
