I have an Android mobile phone. App worked fine until yesterday when it was updated. Now all I get is a blank white screen when I open the app. Totally freezers. Uninstalled and re-installed. Worked once but then went white again on second attempt.
Fitbit is a Charge HR which is working fine.

@Scott101, did you shut down your phone and then restart it after installing the Fitbit app? This ensures is loads the app correctly.

Yes, naturally. Tried shutting down the phone and re-starting. Same problem. Tried removing the app and re-installing it. Same problem. Tried removing app, shutting down, restarting and re-installing it. Same problem.
My phone has Android 6.0.1, so it's a pretty new phone. All other apps work fine when updated.

I am experiencing the same problem on my phone since yesterday. The app won't open, I get a blank white screen. I restarted my phone, then uninstalled and reinstalled the app, at which point it worked for a short while last night. Then this morning I'm back to the frozen white screen again.

I'm having the same problem after the last app update. It was working fine before the last update. I have uninstall and reinstall. Restart the phone and the same thing happens. I'm getting the blank white screen. I'm using an Android phone Oppo R9s. Can somebody tell me how to solve this problem?

To clarify, my phone is also an Oppo R9s. I've found that if I go to 'Play Store', uninstall the app, empty trash (trash removal), clean (memory cleanup/cache junk), then go back to 'Play Store' and re-install the app - it works!!!! For a DAY!!!!! Next morning, same thing. Blank white screen.... Repeat the above steps.......
My wife and daughter also have an Oppo R9 each. They are experiencing the same thing.
Hopefully this can be sorted quickly as we love our fitbits and the app (when it's working....).

I have a fitbit charge 2 and it is synched to my android phone. The fitbit app has been working normally for months but for the last week I open it and the screen just goes white. It doesn't do anything from there. If I uninstall the app and reinstall it, the app will open normally once and then from there the screen goes white again. Any ideas how to fix this?
Thanks!

I am having this issue since last update. Have to go to setting clear the application cache and data, than able to login. After awhile the problem is back again. Did this many times.

I've been having the same problem on the Oppo F1. It is becoming so annoying to have to clear the cache and log in again every time I want to view my daily stats.

Just to update, I have the Oppo R9. Every day, sometimes twice a day, I have had to consistently uninstall and reinstall to get the app to work for a few hours.

Hi,
I am getting the blank screen regularly now. I have uninstalled and reinstalled, and it works once, then when I open the app again, it is just blank, so I can't sync or even see any info. All help gratefully received.

Hello @Shayna95, welcome aboard to the Fitbit Community. This certainly is not a normal behavior, my first though would be to review if you have the most recent version of the app. Which at the date of this post for Android is 4.50.
For additional help please take a look at this post.
Hope it helps and don't forget to let me know how it goes!

Hi, I experienced the same issue whereby the app freeze at the white screen upon the new update last week of version 2.5. And everyday I have to uninstall and install the app to get the app going. Are you guys able to look into it? Im using the Android platform.

Hi. I understand that you are trying to resolve the problem of the app white out screen but can you please tell me how I am to sync my fit bit blaze now that the app is not working.

Same issue, same phone too (Oppo R9s). I am using a Fitbit Alta. My app version is currently 2.50. The only way i have been able to use the app is to force close, then clear the cache and data of the app. Could it be an issue relating to Oppo's Colour OS? (Their modified version of android). Quite annoying, would appreciate a fix.
