My app and tracker had an update yesterday and I haven't been able to sync them since. I have restarted my phone already. It says it's not connecting. Should I delete my tracker and reinstall? I have an Alta and Samsung Galaxy S5

I have this happening right now too so I came on here to see if others were having the same problem. I'm unsure if my app updated yesterday since I clear them out without looking but the last sync was yesterday a 11:29pm CST. I am also in a challange where most of the others have also not synced in 14 hours or over. Yesterday someone else was saying they were not syncing & I asked today if the others were having the problem today & nobody has answered. I used the Flex & sync to an android device. I have not had any other sync problems recently. You're not alone.

Does anyone know if there is a problem with the new update or the fitbit servers currently?

I deleted my tracker off the app and tried to reinstall and it says it is found but there is an error. I'm going on 3 days now with no answers.

How did you reset your tracker? I'm using the Alta and it hasn't synced since Thursday...since the software updated.

I am from the UK and neither my Alta or Flex with sync with my Samsung S6 edge from last night I have uninstalled and reinstalled it on my phone and still no luck.

I up loaded the latest version on the 3rd October 2.35 so not sure if this is the problem

I emailed customer service and they explained how to restart the fitbit.  Now the fitbit isn't working either....not sure what to do at this point....

I restarted my alta by plugging it into the charger. You push the button on the charger 3 times within 8 seconds making sure to pause between pushes. Then the fitbit logo pops up and it restarts! Mine finally started working again!
Hope this helps!

I gave the fitbit app a 1 star when I was having problems. Customer service gets back pretty quick after that!

Nic_P that's what happened to me. I reset my tracker and then it worked fine, for a day. Now I'm back to nothing sync-ing again.

I can't even get to the dashboard.  I get an error message telling me that the network operation has failed and that fitbit.com is down for maintenance.

I contacted support via the chat facility and went through all the reset instructions to no avail so they said "try again in a couple of hours".  Needless to say we are now several hours later and still no joy.
