Hello there @sharj and welcome to our awesome community. I love to see new faces around. Note that with the app is not possible to use a decimal to enter your calories. I invite you to make your voice heard and share your request on our Feature Suggestion board. If you find that a similar suggestion has already been made by another member of the community, you can vote for their idea and add your comments.
There is a work around that I recommend to another user that was having the same inconvenience. Take a moment to review my other post here. Perhaps it can help you to add your food more accurately.
See ya' later my friend and let me know how it goes.

Thank you for clarify this for me @sharj. Well in this case I think then my other post is more helpful. I just want to add that by adding food from your computer allow you to enter the nutritional fact of your meals. Follow the steps marked in my post: https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Android-App/Food-logging-cannot-add-food-Android/m-p/1095300#M21753
To enter this information, you will have the option to switch from advanced view to simplified view. Select advance and here you will see the option to add Trans Fat.
Using the barcode scanner is also a good option, but keep in mind that this option is only available for US food data base as with other food data base it wont have some meals.
Let me know if you have more questions.
