Same thing here on my Moto Z2 Force.  Currently I've lost almost my entire battery over the past couple hours.  Checked my battery settings and it shows Fitbit used 34%.

I just uninstalled the app to save what little battery I have left.  I'll try to re-install later today.

There is a thread in the ionic forum with other complaints:

I just contacted support and they stated:

"In regards to the app issue. Upon reviewing in my system, I can see that our engineering team is aware of this issue and is working on a fix as we speak."

I'm having this issue too with my Galaxy S9! It worked just fine for the first month I got my new Fitbit Versa, but in the last week I've been having to charge my phone 3 times in a day just to get through! So annoying!

EDIT: Fitbit released an update that is supposed to fix the issue so I have updated the app and restarted my phone. Will update this post again with any impact on battery usage.
