I just received the Charge 2 from my kids for Mothers day.  However I do not receive text notifications on the fitbit.  I received calls not texts.  I have a Samsung with Amdriod version 7.  Can you tell me what I'm doing wrong that I'm not receiving texts on the Fitbit

Thanks for stepping into the Forums @pjkalba

What is the specific Samsung phone that you are using? I'd like to take a closer look into what is happening.

Look forward to your reply so that I can find the best way to move forward.

Do you know why it doesn't work

Hello @pjkalba!

It could be that the notifications were muted on the tracker. Perhaps you could check on it like this mentioned by @USAF-Larry.

Hope you find this useful!

Welcome to the Community @Ddawson

Let's check what is going on with those text notifications. I'd like to ask you a couple of questions:

  • What mobile device are you using for the notifications? Have you checked if it is a compatible device
  • Have you tried the troubleshooting I posted above?

If you are using an incompatible device, please now that because it has not been fully tested and optimized, we cannot guarantee its functionality. There are some users who can sync with non-compatible devices. If your phone meets the requirement of Minimum Supported OS (Android 4.4 KitKat), you can try the tips on the following help article: Notifications troubleshooting

Please let me know if you have any further questions.
