The notifications is switched on, I have synced,I have turned Bluetooth on and off, I have re paired the devices and still nothing. It used to work and then just suddenly stopped. I have tried all the Fitbit help and troubleshooting. Can anyone help? Many thanks.

@DebG76, do you have the Charge 2 tracker? If so, have you checked to make sure notifications did not get muted on the tracker? Hold the side button about 3 seconds to toggle the notifications On/Off setting.

Thank you @USAF-Larry. You're a star. I had no idea it had muted (or that there was a mute function)
thanks again

Hello @DebG76! Welcome to the Community.
It's great to hear that @USAF-Larry suggestion worked. If you have the time, you should definitely click on the 'Accept Solution' button under his post. That would help other users experiencing the same muted notifications find the solution to this issue.
Also, I'd like to let you know that you can visit one of our Discussion boards to talk about a lot of different topics with other users and share your experiences.
Hope to see you around!
I had the exact same issue! I had no idea I could mute notifications and for weeks now I have thought there was something wrong with my fitbit and/or phone! I uninstalled the app, restarted my phone, restarted my fitbit..... everything. Turns out I had accidentally muted notifications without knowing that was even a possibility. Thanks @USAF-Larry!!!

Thank you for this gem of info. I, too, was unaware mine had turned off. Nowhere does Fit bit mention this in their troubleshooting.
Best AnswerI was having the exact same problem. Had no idea that there was a mute button on the tracker itself. It was off! Thank you so much for the quick and easy solution.

When I plug in my Charge 2 it was was telling me "Notifications Off" and I couldn't figure out how to turn them back on. All I needed was the simple instruction to turn the fitbit off/on by holding down button. Thank you!

I have the same problem with my alta fit bit, and a Samsung Galaxy 7. What mute button are you talking about? The phone notification works, but not the text or calendar.
