Fitbit Update 04/19/2018: Hi everyone - Thanks so much for patiently waiting while we released a fix. I'm happy to report we started rolling out Fitbit for Android version 2.70 yesterday, on 4/18. Each new app version is slowly released, so if you don't see it available in the Google Play store yet, it will be there shortly. This app version contains the fix, so please update!
If you continue to see the "Do not Disturb" error message after updating, please let me know. I would like to receive confirmation from you all that this app version really did fix it.
Thanks for all your help!

I started having same issue today. DND off but no notifications to Ionic. App says DND on when it's not. I have Samsung S8 with Android 7.0.
Best AnswerTurning off mute gets rid of DND message too. For some reason, Fitbit app thinks DND on when phone is set to mute. I have Samsung S8 w/Android 7.0. Issue started today. Hope Fitbit realizes this is a workaround and NOT a fix.
Best AnswerThanks. I'll try it.
Best AnswerI have a Note 8 and I'm getting the same message (Do not disturb) when my phone is not in DND. I was fine a couple of days ago and now I'm getting this message. Do you know when this will be corrected?
I have the samsung galaxy s8 and my app is also telling me my phone is in dnd mode and it is not, I to have restarted the phone, restarted the Fitbit cleared all cashe for the app deleted and reinstalled the app and nothing is working, I also tried to put my phone in dnd mode and take it out hoping that might fix it but no nothing

Hi, everyone - Our team was made aware of this "Do not Disturb" notification and it will be fixed in a future app release! I can't confirm which app version whether the next or the one after. Just wanted you all to know it is in the works.
Sorry for any inconvenience for the time being, but thanks for cooperating! I will let you all know when the fix is out.

Double post!
In my case, and perhaps other can check this at their end, the sound settings affect this.
I.e. I always have my phone on silent (not even on vibrate). I just dislike the noise towards people in my direct surrounding. It appears that this setting, which is not really the same as DND, does cause fitbit to think the phone is in DND mode.
When I change my sound settings from Silent to Sound then also the fitbit message disappears. So my hypothesis based on this is that fitbit perceives (unintended) the silent mode setting of the phone as a DND setting.
Side note: when in vibrate setting, the message does not appear. Hence I don't think fitbit only perceives silent as DND mode. Vibrate seems to be seen equal to Sound.
Side note 2: if you change the sound settings you might want to quit the app and relaunch so it also 'reloads' the message, i.e. the message doesn't directly appear/disappear when you change the phone sound settings while being in very same fitbit-screen that provides the message.
Hi there how do you get to the screen that allows you to override dnd can't even find it lol.. thank you
Best AnswerDidn't help by opening all permissions more than they already were. I also have a Samsung Galaxy, a 7 to be specific.
This is a Fitbit issue. Nothing I have done or what anyone else seems to have done changes this incorrect notification saying my do not disturb is on Fitbit. My phone is also a 7.0 under the Kernal version.
NKPI, is right. The Fitbit app is perceiving silent as do not disturb that is what many of us do and have always left our phones on while using Fitbit. I receive texts but no calls since this update.
I have a Samsung S7 - using Andriod version 7.0. I believe I have had the same issue since the update. The firmware version on the fitbit is 22.22.55.2. Please let me know if there is anything else you need in order to get this corrected. Thanks.
Best AnswerGot the same issue. Seems to have happened today!
