My Fitbit Ionic: adidas edition synced fine yesterday (October 11, 2018). Today, (October 12, 2018) the Android app reports "Sync error, please try again" every time I try to synchronize the device. I am using the pull down gesture from the Dashboard tab of the app to initiate the sync.
Test System: Fitbit Ionic: adidas edition, Version 27.32.10.20, Fitbit App version 2.80.1, Android 7.1.1.

Hi, @SunsetRunner! Have you tried restarting the app and restarting the phone? I get that message sometimes, but not every time.

Thanks for the suggestion. I decided to return the device and get my money back instead.
