I've had a Charge for years but the charging pins broke. I just received a Charge 2 as a gift and it won't pair with my phone (Samsung Avant). The Charge paired with no problem.
Any ideas or should I just return it for a refund.

@tidewater, the Samsung Avant is an older phone, but it is not on the Compatible Devices list, so it may not work. What operating system (OS) does your phone have - open Settings, About to determine the the OS version. If it is an older 4.x OS, it will not support the newer Fitbit Android app. Open the app on your phone, select the Account screen, and scroll down to select Help - what version of the Fitbit app is displayed at the top of the screen?

Thanks for the info. I checked the Android version and it is a 4.x. However, when I opened the Fitbit app on the phone to answer your question about the Fitbit app version it started a big update and when it was done the phone was paired with the new Charge 2!
Problem solved.
