Hi there,
I'm trying to add a new user to my Aria 2. The person I'm trying to add has made a new Fitbit account and I've resent the invite multiple times.
She has checked the spam folder and I've doubled checked that the email address is correct and I've also read in a previous topic that this has been a glitch in the app before.
Could I please get some assistance?

@Xanthus welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm happy to assist you with the difficulties that you've experienced while trying to add a new user to your Aria 2. By the way, thank you for troubleshooting this issue before contacting our forums.
Please send the invitation through a computer, not the Fitbit app. After this, have your friend to accept the invitation through a computer as well.

This is ridiculous. Why would we have an app if we have to go through a computer?!!!?!?!?

@dgdgdg thank you for getting back! I totally understand your frustration with this. Our team is aware of this and are actively working to have the issue with the app fixed soon.
In the meantime, we recommend the computer workaround in order to have friends added to the scale as users.
I appreciate your understanding and feedback since this helps us to keep improving.

Hey thanks for getting back to me.
I figured trying the web browser route and it worked fine. I have now added a new user.
Unfortunately now there is a separate issue. The new user is now recognised on the app however everytime they weigh themselves there are registered as a GUEST and not as the assigned user.
The new user put an accurate weight to begin with when signing up for a Fitbit account. They have weighed themselves multiple times using the Aria 2 and I have manually assigned their weigh-ins to their user account in hopes that the Aria 2 would learn that their approximate weight/fat percentage.
I also removed the batteries for the Aria 2 for 5 minutes and then restarted the device in hopes that would make a difference. However no luck unfortunately.
The Aria 2 has no problem recording and assigning my weight still which was the User/Account that set up the device.
Any suggestions or work around a for the meantime?

Since the Aria 2 is not recognizing the new user's, please visit this help article. This article has some troubleshooting steps that the new user can try so their weigh ins can be applied to their user properly.
