Just wanted to vent my frustration. Not looking for help, but hopefully can spare someone the cost of buying this over priced junk scale.
Ive had the scale for about a year and a half. It’s properly synced with the app and the website maybe 5-6 times in that time frame.
Ive not changed any equipment, the scale just sucks. I’ve altered the WiFi to fit its needs -802.11 g/b/n-, I’ve taken the batteries out hundreds of times and run through the set up processes over and over again. I’ve moved the scale right next to the router. Ive watched YouTube videos, I’ve looked at all the solutions on this forum. None have worked the scale still refuses to sync. Save yourself the money and return it if you have this issue.

Absolutely agree that this scale is garbage. Massive problems and dozens of hours spent over the last 2 years getting it to sync, flashing messages on the display that you can't stop, etc. Don't buy one you will regret it!!! Sure Fitbit will respond thanking me for my comments as well to help them improve but what you could actually do is refund me my money that you stole on the pretense of giving me a working scale.

Juan, I get you are just responding to customer feedback but I think you need to talk to your leaders about better responses that you can provide, or even better, some solutions from Fitbit to it's customers on an ongoing 5 year design problem on a very expensive scale. As a representative of Fitbit, telling me that you know how I feel is akin to a robber telling his victim, "sorry I stole your money, I know how you feel". Maybe the robber should instead say, "sorry, I didn't realize the impact of my crime on you, here is your money back". I'm pretty sure Fitbit will now terminate this thread, as it has all others under the guise that it is no longer constructive, instead of facing and dealing with the reality that is their customers' experiences.

The problem with my scale as well was a broken plastic foot holder. I followed the Youtube video demo on the repair, glued it and all is well with the scale now. No more random cycling through messages. Maybe Fitbit can make plastic replacement feet available to those who are able to replace them. Check with you leaders Juan and post their reply here please. Realize Fitbit's concern is then going to be how they will deal with the people who aren't able to do it themselves but that is something Fitbit needs to figure out. Do they make good on a faulty design issue or don't they?

Same experience. I’ve wasted literally hours upon hours trying to get it to work over a 2 year period. During the few times when I did get it to work, it was by finding solutions posted by random people on the internet, none of the official Fitbit troubleshooting was useful. I rarely give up on anything, but finally became so embittered with the scale, that I quit using all Fitbit products.

@kzdz00 I'm sorry for the late response and I'm sorry to hear that your Aria scale is not working even though you've tried the recommended troubleshooting steps. I know how frustrating this can be for you.
I would like to help you and turn that bad experience into a good experience. Please provide more details about the issues that your scale is having. Did it stop syncing your data? Did it stop turning its display on? Is it showing any error message? What troubleshooting steps have you tried?
Looking forward to your response!
