Hi, we got our aria 2 recently, I set up through my account and sent my husband the invite link. He then struggled to sync. I then deleted the aria2 from my account, still doesn’t work and it has now lost WiFi connection. Frustratingly I can no longer add it back to my account!! Is there an easy way to reset the aria 2, so we can start again? If we can’t I’m afraid we will have to send it back.

@Helsnalswrote:Thanks for the reply. We already tried that, but it didn’t work 😩 plus I have seen some posts that suggest that pressing the button at the back is more harmful and may affect the aria.
We are not sure what to do, we have taken the batteries out for a while to see if that works!
Taking out the batteries should work, that is how you reset the scale, which normally shakes out a few bugs. They only need to be removed for about a min. or so.

Thanks dramaqueendiva I left the batteries out overnight. We set it up again this morning and it worked. My husband then sent an invite to me. After reading other posts, I accepted the invite in a web based email, not on my phone. It then opened the Fitbit pages and asked me to choose an icon. All I then needed to do was sync the app and hey presto the aria 2 was there!!
we are now both very happy!

@Helsnals I'm so glad to hear that you were able to join the Aria 2 after accepting the invite through a computer. Thanks for posting the update here. I'd like to share the Aria 2 manual so you and your husband can get familiar with its features and both of you can get the most out of it.
@DramaQueenDiva @macgurlnet Thanks a lot for your help and contribution guys!.
See you all later my friends!

I took the batteries overnight and put them back in the morning.
It’s still no connecting to my phone/profile.
this is very frustrating, I will return the scale.
The scale is smart....but is really dumb, the software is not as immediate as should be.
love Fitbit products, but I believe they need more work on this product

@MrAn Thank you for joining us in this thread and our Fitbit Community! I'm sorry to hear that your Aria 2 is not connecting to your network.
I'd like to help you and turn the bad experience you've had with your Aria 2 into a good experience. Please let me know the following details that will help me to determine the cause of the issue:
- Is your Aria 2 displaying any error message during the setup process?
- Is your router running the protocol 802.11b, bandwidth 2.4GHz? These settings can be reviewed with your Internet service provider.
- Did you follow the setup process as described in this help article?
Looking forward to your response! 😀

I have used my Aria 2 for a long time, as has my husband. It has worked beautifully until a couple of weeks ago when it said NO WIFI. It continued to do that so I took out the batteries and replaced them. Multiple times. It gives a v# then goes black. it takes the weight and then says NO WIFI
So I tried doing it through my app on my computer. Looking for the instructions I found https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1158/?q=reconnecting+my+aria2+to+wifi&l=en_US&fs... which says, in part,

I removed my aria 2 because it was not syncing with the Fitbit app on my iPhone. Not the Fitbit app will not reconnect with the scale. I tried removing the batteries. That did not help.

I have been fighting with my Aria 2 for weeks now, and the factory reset mentioned above finally fixed it.
Though it doesn't appear to be a truie factory reset as it came up, showed the firmware version, but retained all of my network settings and sync relationships.
But after the reset it now recognizes me, tells me by BF% and everything. Success!
