I recently got an Aria Air to replace my existing digital scales because I wanted my weight to be automatically synced to my Fitbit app, rather than me manually keying it in.
I've had the scales for a week now and have an ongoing problem with them not syncing (I'm using android on a Samsung S8)
If I reset and reconnect the scales will sync but the next time I come to use them, my Fitbit app does not connect.
I've read through the suggestions on here which fixes the problem initially but the next time I come to use them they don't sync.
Has anyone had a similar problem? At the moment I'm considering returning the scales and going back to my old digital scales, I'm spending too much time trying to get them to record my weight.
Thanks

Hi @Jayne_W, welcome to our Fitbit Community. I totally understand how you feel about the connection or syncing issue that your Aria Air has experienced. By the way, thank you for trying to get this issue resolved before contacting our forums.
I would like to follow up and would like to know if the issue persists or if it got resolved. In the meantime, make sure that you are following the setup instructions that are listed in this help article, under the "Aria Air" section.
Looking forward to your response.

I am also incredibly disappointed with my purchase of the Aria scale. I gave away a perfectly good electronic scale because I thought the convenience of automatic syncing would be nice. It has been nothing but frustration. The darn scale syncs when it feels like it, which seems to only be about an average of every 3rd or 4th use.
I've gone through resets and reconfigurations with tech support. It improved a tiny bit but it is still unreliable. I guess it was just a bad purchase of a poorly designed product. I would think that they should be able to fix these issues with a firmware upgrade but I've see no improvement in 9 months of ownership.
If you can't make the device work you should send me a model that does work!
