My new Aria Air scales isn't an option in the "add new device" section of the app. How am I meant to set it up without the option?

@Darch684   I found this press release introducing the Aria Air.  It mentions an mid-October availability.  The Fitbit store also has it listed as available for pre-order.  I don't think you can add it yet.

Same problem here. Arrived today but model doesn’t show on app. Had massive problems with the previous Aria and thought the Air would solve problems by not having to connect to network but no such luck.
why release a model when software not up to date 😠

I have chased Fitbit support and they advise the Air will be able to be set up after 23 October.

Talk about doing things arseways. Aria Air arrived today and I realised I cannot sync due to mo availability of the Air option in the app.

My old Aria scale always had terrible issues connecting, so I returned it. I ordered the Aria Air hopping the connectivity issues would be solved, just to find out the connectivity is NONEXISTENT. Fitbit, why would I want to pay $50 for a connectable scale that doesn't connect?!?! Epic fail. I'll be returning this piece of garbage first thing in the morning. I'm not about to buy equipment with the promise that it'll work later. Fitbit go **ahem** yourselves.

@Darch684  @Ianindeal  @ChrisWo  @Shubj   I just learned that the Aria Air should be on the list of devices to set up on Wed 10/23.  Keep in mind that Fitbit is in California so there might be a time zone issue for users as what counts as Wed 10/23.

Nope, don't care. The scale and software should have been released
together. I already have a regular digital scale that cost just $12. I
spent the $50 because I wanted a scale that would connect with my Fitbit
account, and it doesn't connect. 4x as much money for a scale that works
the same as any other scale is a rip off. Merchandise should function as
advertised. Get bent Fitbit. I'm pissed af over this.

Has anyone been able to connect the Fitbit Aria Air scale? I received it yesterday and cannot connect it. Past the 10/23 day in every timezone.

just wanted to chime in.

I had the aria air delivered yesterday, after over 3 hours of troubleshooting, the Fitbit rep finally told me my phone, Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus, is not 100% compatible with any FitBit devices (he even linked me to FitBit's article: which phones will work with FitBit proving my phone isn't compatible). This may be why you are having issues connecting. It's rather disheartening because I have the Versa (switched from iPhone x to Note 10 Plus) and I've had nothing but sync issues with the Versa, but it at least syncs 95% of the time.

Their solution? Get a phone on the approved list and if it connects to that, then that explains FitBit's system limitations in getting product to sync. So either we are SOL or if we are rich (which I'm not), get you a new phone that is compatible. smh.

Omg that's so awful. I'm sorry this isn't working for you. If it's any consolation, I have an iPhone and my aria air won't sync to my app either. Now I'm wondering if they're going to tell me my iPhone is too old for their system, lmao.

It’s appalling how many people are having issues.

just not good enough Fitbit.

mine finally working aside from the fact they don’t actually register as stones and pounds.

I also cannot believe you have to go in to the app each time you weigh yourself and save your weight. I had assumed if Bluetooth was switched on on your phone it would automatically connect but obviously not.

Come on Fitbit - customer service and satisfaction should be a priority.
