Same is happening but when I called Fitbit the lady that helped me sounded annoyed and was no help. She then even asked me to restart my cellphone and call them back. I think she was sick because I could hear she was super congested, I feel bad for her, having to work on those conditions. But, my issue was not resolved. I even tried to uninstall the Aria and install it again and it wouldn’t let me ☹️☹️
Best AnswerI had to run through the setup process again. My aria (8+ yrs old) is pretty fussy. I did notice that if you have a VPN operating, you have to shut it off. Don’t know why but when I did I was able to get a successful connection.
Best AnswerI have the exact same problem, only that i have a Aria air, I have read all the "guides" and installed the "Aria Air update" app.
None of the steps help.
The only solution that works is to remove the weight from the app everytime I want to use it, and re-connect it.
When it comes to fitbit support on the matter, I have been in contact with them om the phone 3 times and via e-mail.
It seams like the customer support representative knows that this is an issue that is not going to be resolved by Fitbit.
Best AnswerMine too stopped working the beginning of May. 😞
It seems they did another improvement to their business model and updated the software to reduce functionality of the hardware, planning on us purchasing new hardware to increase their bottom line.
Yeaaaa, that's not going to work. So many options out there these days. Why do I want to get another that will fail after the prescribed number of updates?
Ok, I need to appologize, because I was able to get the aria to connect to my revamped wifi and sync. I wanted to delete my earlier comment, but can't find how to do that. 😞
It took a couple tries, but I had to tell it to change the network name, even though it was the same network.
Go to www.fitbit.com/scale/setup Good luck. Sorry for my snarky comment above. It's been a hard day.
Best AnswerI recently got a new modem/wireless router from Comcast, so the network changed. When I go through the procedure to connect my Aria to the new network, the setup window does not show the the new Comcast network in it's list of networks to connect with. Every other device in my house can see the Comcast network. Does anyone know what might be happening?
