My aria scale will not sync with app. It was syncing everyday with no issues and then I realized it wasn’t changing on the app about a week later. It says it’s connected to the network and displays everything, the line spins like its transmitting but the arrows? Aren’t turning and then at the the bottom of the display the WiFi lines come up with an x over them. Nothing has changed. It’s been about 20 days since the last sync.

FYI-Same issue here and doing the setup again did not work. I also tried restarting my iPhone, and reinstalling my Fitbit app. That didn’t work either.
Then i rebooted my WiFi router and now the scale syncs again to my Fitbit app. I have Frontier as my internet provider.

@ScottyTB Thank you for getting back! In case you have not called our Support team, I'd like you to make sure that your XB6 modem runs the protocol 802.11b, bandwidth 2.4GHz and the WiFi password is alphanumerical. These are the router settings required by the Aria. You can verify these settings with your Internet service provider also if you need help.
See you around!

Did any of them have you try changing the settings on your wireless router? That's what finally worked for me (see instructions on the first page), although I still need to redo it periodically for some reason.

Thanks and yes I have tried all of the fixes above. 25% of the time I can get it to synch for a couple of hours but then back to no synch. Seems like the only bandaid is going through the resynch process daily. Not optimal. They have not updated the operating system in years (V39) and seem to want users to upgrade rather than support.
Thanks for your comment

Daily!?! Dang, and I thought every couple of months was annoying.
Totally agree, they should have fixed this a long time ago.

I had to get a new router and need to change my WiFi info for my aria scale. I tried to reset, etc and nothing works.
I have a Netgear Nighthawk router. Does anyone have a fix for this?

Seems like after 3 years the creators have not been able to find a fix. I would have to resync every day if I had time do that. It’s faster and easier to manually input weight into a fitness app.

Hi, I had the same problem, though connected to the Network Aria would not sync. Firstly ensure that your Encryption Settings Security Mode is WPA2-PSK and only this, with WPA Encryption Mode set to AES in your Modem/Router setup. I did not have to change the password I was using and all connections around the house worked fine with it. I had changed it a while back for another purpose and the Aria worked for a few months with the new setting but stopped syncing a week ago. I did all the resets and then by changing back to the WPA2-PSK Security Mode with AES WPA Encryption Mode it has started syncing to the Network again. My suggestion is, ensure correct Security Mode, then a reset and hopefully that will solve the problem as it did for me. I am running V39 on the Aria by the way. Good luck.

Does anyone know how to get my aria syncing if I am on Telus. I can get to the admin page but no clue where to go from there. My aria hasn't worked in a year and i gave up.

YES! Sept 22, 2018 was the last time my Aria scale synced with app! Did they add a timer to force us to buy something new?! I've had to manually enter my weight since that date which I could do with ANY simple mechanical scale. Hey, maybe Goggle will do better develop for Fitbit products now that they own them! Fingers crossed.
