Fitbit Aria Glass Replacement

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

To whom it may concern,

Today I knocked my Aria scales and the glass shattered.  It is not covered under warrantee, but can the glass be replaced ?  Obviously I understand there would be a charge associated with any replacement. done, it just seems a terrible waste to throw it out and buy a new one. You know the endless ruination of the planet etc.

Please advise if any type of repair can be done and how would I go about getting it done.

Many thanks in advance

Hi @ThenAlphaOmega  you might want to check with a local hardware store to see if they know someone who could repair it. You'd want sturdy glass and someone who is able to work with their hands. Fitbit doesn't repair devices or suggest where to take them.

Hi there,

Thank you for the response

I did find this post https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Aria-Scales/Aria-2-scales-glass-got-shattered/td-p/4354637 of a similar issue where they suggested " I was able to get in touch with our Support team and was told that they assisted you via chat and send you an email."     But that was a couple of years ago, so maybe things have changed.

Unfortunately I don't think anyone outside of Fitbit could repair it as it has sensors for BFI and the like

You can always try to get in touch with customer support. Not sure what their current options are or if you're under warranty.

when there is someone available, chat is an option. Phone or Twitter works well, too.

Thank you for the response.

Will try the chat as I am Australia, seems there is not a number for that.

Warranty has long since expired, but I am ok with paying for the repair ( if they will do it )

Thanks again

Fitbit won't do repairs, sad to say.
