There are several discussions of ideas to wear the Fitbit on the ankle. Yes most are for other models but you'll get an idea.
One option would be to buy a Zip and use this at work .

I actually wear it on my ankle quite often due to work. Wrap the strap around my ankle and wear normal socks which hold it in place. I have now bought one of the silicone straps from eBay with the holes in it. I'm planning on making an extra hole near the end which I reckon would hold it in place but can't tuck it in to secure it but hopefulky no need for long socks.

Thank you for sharing I am wondering do you find that the 2 are equal in steps?

Can you all develop a tracker designed for the ankle? I work in the home a lot (carrying laundry basket, kid, pushing stroller, shopping cart, etc.) and my Charge 2 definitely does not give me all my steps.
What is FitBit's solution for people in situations like or similar to mine?

I haven't heard of any solution but Fitbit uses calories, not steps, to compare the different exercises.
There have been threads on the way people mounted the Blaze to the ankle, and I have one friend who makes her own bands for the blaze. It would not be hard to make a longer band.

Hi Richard... I'm still around.. I did tests a few years ago and the image are my results.. I also found it accurate if the sensors are on the inside of the ankle.. for the HR
