Totally disappointed with my Blaze. Battery life is horrible and it's not tracking my steps as it should be.

A warm welcome to the Community @Vlopez15. If you are having problems with your Blaze battery life, I recommend taking a look at this post, where you will be able to find some steps to follow. Now about the steps, could you please be more specific, is the tracker recognizing them or not? In the meantime, you can try the restart process.
