Battery draining fast

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My Blaze has stopped holding a charge for more than 24 hours. It used to last 4-5 days to almost an entire week. Now I can charge it and at best it will last 36 hours. Average battery life is 24 hours or less. Also the battery seems to charge in 15-20 minutes from a complete drain. It use to take a few hours. I have reset the device and followed all the other suggestions but nothing has helped.

I have cleaned the contacts. I am following the proper charging
procedures. I have tried everything. It seems the battery is not holding a
charge for more than about 24 hours after completely charging the battery.

I'm having this issue as well. First it was needing to be charged every 48 hours or so, but now I'm charging it fully before bed every night and when I wake up in the morning, it's dead. 😞

I'm going to try to suggestions here and see what happens ...

@squirrellygirl  This is what concerns me " cleaned the contacts, charged it with a wall charger"

Did you read this post that I post above?

That Wall charger needs to be USB certified. It should say on so the charger. If not your damaging the battery

Hi Wendy - yes, I’ve read all the help documents. This is what I’m doing:

“Fitbit will recommend to charge your trackers via the USB port over a wall adapter.”

It seems that Fitbit used inferior batteries and is trying to blame the
owners of improper care and usage. The issue is clearly the batteries are
not holding up. I am hoping Fitbit will offer to make this right but that
has yet to happen.

How long have had this Fitbit blaze and has there been an accident with it for example dropping it or putting it in water for a extended amount of time or you have just had it for a very long time if so then you should think about getting a new fitbit

@auerman2 - I agree.  I'm a big fan of Fitbit and have had them for many years, but it's almost like they're disposable at this point. 😞
