Battery not keeping charge

I charged my battery Friday morning. Now the next morning, it is flashing red. Is there an issue with the Blaze battery not holding a charge? Any troubleshooting I can do? Thank you.

When my blaze gets wonky I'll shut it down from the settings menu. Haven't had your issue specifically, but syncs and notifications will affect battery life. I've turned all day sync off and limit notifications to texts and calls, which has improved battery life.

I tried the shut down feature you mentioned. We'll see if that helps. I did turn off my step reminder. I don't really use that feature much anyway. Thanks.

It's great to have you here @purplemjh79 and @Jcat313! We don't have any bug about Blaze not holding a charge. I would like you to make sure that you're charging it properly. If you are but the battery isn't lasting as expected then please try restart it

As @Jcat313 mentioned, you may want to check Tips to maximize the battery life of your Blaze

Hope this helps. Let me know how it goes.

Having the same issue and it just started after I've had the Blaze for a bit. Wondering if you are still having this issue or what you did to fix it.

Totally tried all the troubleshooting you mentioned. As a matter of fact, I was in the process of charging my Blaze, again at that point. Got it fully charged and now it's only half charged in a few hours. Help!

Melissa79 maybe try to see if there is a system update. I know calling a tech person can help also. I had a great person help me when I was first using the device.

I am having the same problem.

I've had the Blaze since Christmas.

I always wait til low battery notification then charge fully.

Charge is lasting 36-48 hrs max!

Is this right?

Also, I am not able to use it for text or email notifications either as my phone wont connect to my Bluetooth in the car if it is connected to my Blaze!

All help massively appreciated.

Thanks

Mine used to hold a charge for about 4 days. I've had it for a while, but over the last couple months the charge length has been dropping. Now it seems at least twice a week it won't hold a charge for even a day. Yesterday it went to full charge to dead twice in a day. Aside from some minor pairing issues the Blaze has been fine until now, but if it won't hold a charge it's no good. I've done the restart, settings adjustments, etc. bits. This is my third FitBit with issues in as many years. As much as I like the Blaze if there's not a ready fix might be time to switch brands.

Turns out there is a problem with mine so I'm getting a replacement after talking to customer service. Your description sounds very similar to my experience...I would call customer service if I were you.

I had a problem with mine not holding a charge as well. I have had mine for almost a year now. At first it held a charge for about 4-5 days with the HR monitor off. Then it got down to about 2-3 days which was ok with me. Now, almost suddenly it goes from full charge to flashing red in literally 3-4 hours. I called the customer support line, they verified the battery issues on their end using my account and are sending me a new one in the mail. If you are still within the warranty then give them a call. The warranty I believe is 1 year.

I am having a similar issue with my Blaze I bought in January. It charges fully, then within 6 hours is completely drained. Is there any help I can get to how to fix this? Or do I need to request a replacement?
