Battery problems with Blaze replacement

So i just received my replacement Blaze. I have put it on charge and while it was charging, i set it up and it syncs with my phone. The issue i have is as follows

It doesn't hold any charge. While its in the charger and it shows the clock, the battery indicator is always in the last of the red and flashing. Once i remove it from the charging dock, it just dies. But when its in the charging dock it can switch on. Its been charging for about 8 hours now but its the same. I have tried my usual Anker USB hub, PC, powerbank and power adapter to usb, a few hours each and its all the same. 

I have tried to restart it while its in the dock too. no avail. it restarts fine, fitbit logo comes on, and continue charging but battery indicator is still flashing red and once i remove it from dock it dies and won't switch on.

I also have this issue, same time of purchase too, so could be a batch problem
