@GBO323 I don't know the reasoning behind why there hasn't been such a feature on our Surge or Blaze devices to this point, but I don't think we should rule it out completely for suture iterations of our clock faces. One thing I always recommend is submitting a Feature Request- you definitely have my vote.
@Clareio Yep, it looks like this:
You can tap the small stat at the bottom of the clock face and cycle through metrics for your day!

@GBO323 I stand corrected! though the analog clock face normally isn't set to steps by default, it will show the steps you have with Quick View if you've cycled through.
Sorry about the confusion!
@WaldoRick - Yes, the clock face does fade after a few seconds, but you can go into the Blaze settings and set Quick View to on. This way, all it takes is a flick of the wrist to check the time ... no buttons to press, no tapping the screen. I like this feature.

Actually, you can see the # of steps on the "Original clock face." Once you select that clock face, sync then tap the heart beat icon ... scroll thru the options until you get to steps ... and from that point forward, when you flick your wrist to see the time, your Blaze will display the time and your steps. It also shows a circle, with your progress highlighted.
Or you can select "Pop" or "Flare" to see the circle, with your step progress highlighted. But not an actual number.
Personally, I'm a numbers gal so my Blaze is set at "Original." But you have options. Hope this helps.

And what exactly are those metrics that it is showing? I can see HR obviously but there are a few others that I'm not quite understanding. So from HR please tell me what they are up until todays date.
Also, in Flare mode is there a way to show HR? Thanks.
Best AnswerFlare is the most static of the clock faces in that you only get what you see in the image there. Tapping the face doesn't change anything in the same way as it does on the others.
Original cycles you through all of your stats for the day (and the date) while Zone flips between HR and date displays. I can't say I've used the other display enough to be sure exactly what it does but I do know that tapping on it toggles the focus between the three progress circles in the upper half of the screen.

The Flare face shows the "flares" relative to the minute of the hour. Also, the lengths of flare grow to show you how active you have been during that time period as well. (More active - longer flares)

@bjanow "Auto" is active when you wear it and will change to inactive if you don't. If you have times when you don't see your HR being recorded, you can choose "ON" - which I believe leaves it on all the time - even if you take if off. Or you can turn "OFF" completely.

The default watch face can be configured to show your steps. Just tap on the date and cycle through till you get to steps.
Best Answerthis post is listed as the solution to the original question "Can the clock face be set to show the time continuously, or does the face time out after several seconds?" but it is not the answer to that question at all.
I would like to know how to make the clock stay visible, or make the motion sensor more sensitive so that when I move my wrist I can see the time. As it is now I have to exagerate my wrist movement and wait a couple of seconds for the time to show up.
Also, if there was clock face that showed the time, date and HR and step count all at once I would use that.

@CathodeRayTube The clock face cannot be set to show continuously. Using quick view or pressing any of the buttons will activate the screen.
Currently there is not a clock face to match your criteria....closest would be POP which shows Time, and in graphical representation: Steps, HR, and Calories burned. (Which then you can tap on the symbol to get the numerical instance of them)
Hope that helps

Do you know if the development team plans to design any more clock faces? I bought this as a alternative to an apple watch and I am jealous of the different options that device has for clock faces.
