Blaze Durability

Wow. You'd think in a device designed for "active" users the screen would be more durable. I wore my Blaze to work...I'm a critical care nurse...and got two lovely scratches on the screen. I've only had it for two days. The least Fitbit could do is provide a good quality screen protector in the box.

Not a happy camper.

Huh, sorry to hear that @dzadzey.

I'd recommend getting in touch with the Support Team and if you'll be emailing them, attach pictures of how your tracker looks for them to have a look and I'm pretty sure they will be very happy to help you out with this! 🙂

Let me know if you need more help!

I did contact support, and they seem to be expecting a warranty claim. Such is not the case. A good quality screen protector for the Blaze masks the scratches. Fitbit, however needs to step up their game and produce more robust devices or provide a good quality screen protector with every unit...at no extra charge. I selected the Armorsuit MIlitary Shield. It was easy to apply, has a lifetime guarantee and masks any pre-existing scratches.

So, Blaze buyers be aware...Put the screen protector of your choice on before you ever put it on your wrist.
