Blaze GPS connected not working

Blaze won't connect to phone, I have a Samsung Galaxy 8 which is compatible but when I press on the run icon it tries to connect then says check Fitbit app?

Have you tried syncing the app to the Blaze immediately before going into run on the Blaze? That's how I've been doing it for over 2.5 years for bike riding. I think they connect better if currently synced.

Thanks, done the usual of turning off and on again and all seems good now
