I was one of the first to receive a Blaze and it is still going strong. This is my favorite only because it is nice haveing notifacations from 3rd party apps, which is my only gripe against the Charge 2. I know its just a case of being spoiled.
Now if i had to choose only one tracker, it would have to be the Charge2 with it's consistent 6.5 -7 day battery life, its cool sleek look, easily changable bands, and the quick connect charger.
The Charge 2 is currently the best on the market for the buck, just look at the independent reviews.

@MarkyMarc11My Blaze 12 month anniversary comes up in 3 weeks and it hasn't given any "life" issues.
I get about 3 days out of the battery with Notifications set, wear it 24/7 with HR on Auto. Syncing occurs when I open the App. I have "continuously sync" set to off. "Connected" to on..
My notifications are fairly active with messages and emails.
I have set an alarm to warn me to turn off Notifications at 10-30pm. Because of my time difference many of the notifications occur while I'm asleep. Another alarm in the morning to turn notifications on.
The band has not irritated my wrist like the Surge. I put the Surge problem down to lack of air movement under the band on the sides of the wrist while wearing 24/7.
Just waiting for the V02Max firmware upgrade for the Blaze.....

Best AnswerMy Blaze is now about 1.2 years and it will not sync and not holding charge long, so I would say Life expectancy is about 1.2 years it goes great until then.
I got 2 surge, first last less than a year. 2nd last a year. seem fitbit product only last a year.
can we have a better product that last longer?
or at least you cycle new product quicker.

Hello all, I hope you are doing fine! ![]()
Regarding to your question, I have had my Blaze for more than a year and it stills working properly. But for those that are having inconveniences with your trackers here are some things that you can try:
I hope this helps, if you need anything else, do not hesitate in posting it. ![]()
Best Answeri bought the Blaze on a recommendation of a friend who loved it and thought it had a great look, I agree. I purchased in March, 2016. In June 2016, customer service replaced with a new tracker, charger, frame and band, just like new. (i bought directly from fitbit site originally). In May 2017, again it was not holding a charge, less than 24 hours it would go to red, no extreme battery drainers used. Just text messages, not emails. Customer service again replaced new tracker (assured it was brand new tracker part only) that i received 3 days ago, set up was normal, charged it and happy to have it. (it was a lot of arguing with CS to get this replaced). same settings. I charged it again yesterday afternoon, thinking i might not have fully charged when i set up, this morning at 8am, it was at 50% charge. i re-charged again. I have contacted fitbit rep that i was dealing with (the one that seemed the most helpful, Precious D.) to see why this happened again, i never even apply lotion to my forearm that wears the fitbit, it never get it wet washing dishes. looking of fitbit's fb page, there are many people that have issues with battery life and battery working properly. be aware that the charger is awkward, it is on a long wire/cord that plugs into laptop and a box that snaps closed--be sure that the fitbit is aligned properly or you could damage it. i keep my charger in a drawer, but it is the cord that could get damaged more easily.
Best AnswerYou need to be careful with the screen when you remove it from the band to charge it. There is a history of the "overnight" cracked screens. This is when a screen develops a crack without an associated impact or obvious cause. top left corner
bottom right corner
single non spidery crack
right side of frame
Best AnswerAs you can see, no damage or scuff marks on frame or unit, just a single crack across the face. I've had it since launch, worn it everyday and taken good care of it. It still functions properly.
Fitbit doesn't have a repair option, after a year you get a digital coupon for 25% off another Fitbit device if you choose to replace it.
At the very least, look into getting a screen protector of some kind.
