Music Control:
With Blaze, you can control your music with the touch of a button! To access Music Control, simply swipe downward on your home screen. Improvements to this feature include a Bluetooth Low Energy (BTLE) connection for iOS instead of BT Classic. We've also added the ability to rewind and increase/decrease the volume of the song, in addition to fast forwarding and play/pause.

This did make me curious about the Amazon music app. Sure enough, skip/pause/etc. work perfectly on my Nexus 6 when using that one.
Edited to add that it also works well with YouTube videos, for me.

Then, maybe because you have a 6s -- on my iPhone 6 ... I went thru all troubleshooting myself and with the FitBit Support team -- neither worked and they escalated my issue and have NOT gotten back to me now... They will, because they have the best support... but this has thrown them for a loop.. I am not the only one with this issue... However, like I said I will use Amazon...much less frustrating.
The Blaze is nice, is by FAR more "wearable" than my Surge and the screen very cool... however it is sporadic on notifications, when I do get them, the vibration is almost useless (battery life) and the Music control was highly frustrating... leaving me wondering if I should give up and just go back to my Surge (MUCH less trouble)...that would be a shame
Hoping to hear from Tech Support soon..and maybe an interim upgrade (to include the features for use in real life) so that "we" might feel the Blaze is worth the price tag...

I get where you are coming from -- however I found it much easier to use the controls on my tracker... I got spoiled using my Surge 😉

Hello,
I received my Fitbit Blaze yesterday and quite thrilled with it. however there seems to be a major caveat... as I like my stuff wireless, I'm using bluetooth headphones. It seems that when I'm connected to them, the Blaze becomes unable to connect to control music (which is kinda when I need it).
- if I dont connect the headphones, the music control works
- i tried with 2 different pair of headphones (Samsung Gear Circle and Monster iSport Wireless Superslim)
- my phone is a Samsung S6 Edge
What's the solution please?
thanks!

** update**
If I use the following sequence then it works:
1- launch Google Play Music on my phone
2- connect the watch to music control
3- power on the headset and connect it to my phone
feels a bit like I have to follow the ignition sequence of a space shuttle, I hope that these processes can become more solid at some point so I dont have to be that mindful on the order in which I start everything.
---
i will try that and let you know... although I must admit, even if it ends up working that way, it seems quite cumbersome to have to use a specific sequence of connecting the devices.

I have the same issue. The buttons don't work, but the display does. Also be aware that when this option is active on the Blaze, it may stop any bluetooth headphones from being able to control music player. I have some bluetooth headphones that I can push buttons to move to next song or pause, but when the Classic is linked to my phone it stops my ability to use my headphones controls. Pretty much a poor design for music, kind of gives me the idea that music was an 'after-thought'

Hi im hopeful you can help me. I just got my Blaze last night and it worked fine with my music app Pandora. I went to use it today and I had to unpair my phone and then repair it for it to work. I played a song and it worked just fine. I walked away from my phone and then went to skip an ad and it would not work. I got right next to my phone and after a few tries it worked. I wasled away from my phone again and it will not skip, pause or play the songs nor turn up/down the volume. This is very annoying as I was looking forward to this feature. I should not have to keep unpairing and repairing my phone and Blaze everytime I walk away and want to skip or stop a song... what gives? How can I correct this issue?
