I have never had a problem with my Fitbit Blaze. It will notify me when I get a message and it says view messages. It won't show me the actual message. This just happener in the past month. I have an android s8.
I have searched and can't find a resolution.
Thanks!

This has been a continual off an on issue for the past few months. It seems to be an issue with the Samsung notification requirements and the Android updates. I'm a teacher, and if this isn't fixed by my first check, I might end up switching to an Android wear. I really don't want to do that as I've been a LONG time Fitbit user...my first one was over 6 years ago.

Best AnswerMy incoming calls now doesnt show the correct call coming in. I don't understand how this used to work and all the sudden doesn't anymore.

Best AnswerHello has this problem been resolved? It's frustrating that my fitbit only shows view messages and not the message. The phone calls show unknown. Please let me know if there is an update on this. Thank you
Best AnswerI have a Samsung S5 and was havinh many issues with my Blaze syncing very slowly taking a long time, message notifications not coming through and call notifications being very slow and late.
The fix I found for me was to do the following
- turn off Bluetooth Classic on the Blaze
- unpair Bluetooth Classic on the phone
- pair the Blaze to the phone only using standard Bluetooth
- turn off Text message notifications in the Fitbit app
- enable message notifications through App Notifications by selecting it in the list
- make sure the Keep Alive widget is not enabled
Now I get all my notifications and calls are displayed instantly. Syncs are also much quicker and do not take very long.
Please give these a try and let us know.

Best AnswerThey magically appeared again after I complained a bunch. But I did update the blaze, turn it off and on. Re-installed fitbit app on the phone and re-connected bluetooth. Also, turn phone off and on. And then try the test message on the app.
