Blaze battery draining after update

I charged my Blaze about every 4-5 days before, but after the recent update (of the detailed sleep tracking), it drained very fast, that I need to charge it everyday. Has anyone else experienced this?

After several days' observation, I think the battery is back working properly. I didn't change anything (activity reminder still on, all-day sync on, heart-rate tracking on, etc.) Now it back to 4-5 days of battery life. I didn't do anything and I don't know why...

I turned off the activity reminder and fully charged the tracker before going to bed. It held the charge through the night and was a bit more than half full this morning. I'm now in the process of fully charging again and I'll see what happens over the course of the next 24 hours.

I charged the battery to full at 11:22 AM yesterday morning. I was at about half full at 3:24 PM. At 10:26PM it was about 1/3 full and when I woke this morning at 7:52 AM it was in the red. So even without reminders on it took less than 24 hours to discharge.

Still discharging in less than 24 hours. It's still a problem.

I'm glad I'm not the only person having this problem.  I thought it may be related to the fact that I upgraded from a Nexus 6P to Samsung Galaxy S8+ around the same time the horrid battery performance started

I removed the Blaze and Fitbit app from my S8+ and moved it to an old Samsung Galaxy S4 that I keep as a backup phone, and the battery seems to be lasting a little longer now, but it's still dropping way faster than normal.   I charged up at 5pm AEST yesterday, and now at 3pm AEST today I'm down to 30% battery left.

Well, it seems the issue was not (or at least not exclusively) the Activity Reminder.

My last charge got me 5 and a half day of use, which is very good.

Meanwhile, I charged last Saturday and this Monday morning, it was very low (blinking red). It therefore went back to two days - and there were no changes in my setup, neither in the usage pattern.

After putting it in its charging cradle, I noticed that the charge level was unusually high after only 15 minutes. I am now wondering if this is not a charge circuit estimation issue. I will continue to try to isolate the cause.

Anyhow, I can't believe Fitbit is not investigating the issue considering the amount of people reporting it.

As strange as it seems, battery life seems back on the 5 days+ track since the meter hasn't lowered down in the last 24 hours.

This makes it hard to pinpoint a root cause.

It's happening to me too.

Used to hold charge for 5 days, now I can't get through 1 day.

Charged it over night last night. Took it off charge at 7:30am. By 2:00pm it's now going into powersave mode (shutting down). I didn't change any of the settings or anything on my phone.

Is anyone at Fitbit working on this? How about an update guys?

I would like an update. It happens to me as well.

I lodged a support ticket with Fitbit and they responded very politely and very quickly. They asked me to fully charge my blaze from a laptop USB (which I did) and then to sync it every hour or so while it was discharging so that they could read the telemetry centrally (which they did). After that they agreed that there is some sort of hardware fault and after seeing my proof of purchase, agreed to replace it. According to their tracking, it's winging it's way to my house as we speak. Very good customer service I must say.

What I"m getting is my phone showing that the battery is full but the battery Icon is red & flashing on my Blaze.......... I thought it was odd that it was not holding a charge as well as it once did.  Sure hope Fitbit comes up with a fix.  😞

I am having this exact problem on a 4 month old Blaze. My iphone always shows the battery is full but the battery is almost always dead. Everything worked great for about 3 months but now I have to charge it every night just so it works for the next day. I'll be taking it back to Costco.

I have had mine for almost a month. I have not updated it. It went from 4 days to just 24 hours. Has anyone discovered a solution?
