Hi everybody! I don't usually uses blaze while I work. I put it on the table. After about four hours, the blaze turned to 60% batteries from 100%. Any power-down mode can I use in the blaze?

Hi Alejandra -

Are you sharing the concerns expressed here with FitBit management?  Honestly, it seems as though Fitbit does not care about this issue.

I am having the same issue and can't get any help! WOW they told me I just need to buy a new tracker for $200 because the warranty is only 365 days!!! Very disappointed in this FitBit and expectation of me to purchase a new one!

I spent some time chatting with a customer service person today. They did give me some tips and a case number to refer to after I’ve tried them. I feel like they do care and are trying to resolve the issue, just hope it works.

My fitbit blaze battery is barely lasting 4 hours. Just for the past couple of days it is not holding its charge. Not even a year old! Rather disappointed that I am suddenly having this issue. I have tried some of the solutions, turning heart rate off, screen set to dim and shake to awake off; but still no luck. Any ideas?

After speaking with customer service they told me to do the following: charge it fully (apparently I wasn’t doing that), sync it 5-6 times a day, let it run out of battery and get back to them with how long the charge lasted. Another person said they let theirs run totally out of power, charged it for 24 hours and then it started holding a charge again

I tried these options. It didn’t work for me.

How much time you spent with customer service?. Is it still in warranty? If its under warranty, let’s wait for the warranty to expire and review the same issue and the response from customer service.

This works, but then a week later it happens again. This time battery is lasting no more than 8hrs or so. HR tracking no longer works either.

Don't really know what to do. I want a new brand of tracker - I absolutely will not buy another fitbit. I've owned 3 fitbits and gifted 6 fitbits. They are all questionable quality...but the app is amazing. It's what kept me for this long but I'm tired of justifying the purchase of a low quality device because of the app.

I am sorry to hear this. I faced same problem. I can’t spend $200+ every year. So, I moved to mifit band. Apps are not great as Fitbit. Its enough for me and the pricey is 5 times lower than Fitbit

First Post!

My wife has a Blaze which also didn't hold a charge. I replaced the battery with one from ebay. Some suggest using the 302030 but it's too wide. I used my username...fits perfect. That all being said, my family has owned 6 fitbits. They've bubbled up on the bands, had batteries that have died and I think I'm done. Time to find another product that is more future friendly. Happy soldering!

Boss , its not about charging issue.. its about battery, whose life is almost come to end.. do fitbit have any platform to own new battery and replacment procedure.. seriously services of fitbit are not upto the mark..once product is sold and out of warranty, then customer have to replace the whole tracker..i think fitbit should focus more on the service part . Their product indeed best in the market but service realted issues are shaking confidence of customer like us.. who is already looking for service solution for his fitbit blaze..

I 100% agree-- once the warranty is out we are expected to say oh well it's
been 365 day and the battery is dying and I guess I will have to replace
it. I'm sorry but $200 every year for a fitbit tracker is non-sense. and
to offer a 25% on a tracker that is less than comparable to the Blaze and
say it's not valid on the VERSA which is comparable is an insult!!!

As I mentioned, you are keep repeating same words instead of accepting product failure.

This is their standard practice now! No answers just a bunch of jibberish!

Okay, I have tried ALL the fixes for the Blaze battery drain and NOTHING works. This is not unusual for modern technology companies, mobile phones are the same. Some bean cruncher has decided that most people will probably buy a new product when it comes out, for mobiles and smartwatches this means every year or so. They don't need to have great hardware, as long as they have great software. Perhaps the original pro smart health watch companies have better products? Try SUUNTO or GARMIN, they are pro sports watches. If you just need lifestyle, then Fitbit is okay. Americans need to lobby for longer warranties. A one year warranty on a product that costs 200 USD is a DISGRACE.
