Blaze battery life dramatically decreased to less than 18 hours?

I received my Blaze last week and was regularly charging it every three days. Last night it was low (about 20%) so I plugged it in for a few hours. I took it off the charger around midnight last night and it displayed full. I put it on but hardly even used it at all; I slept seven hours and haven't used any functions on it. However just now I checked and the battery is again at 25% and it's been less than 12 hours. At this rate it'll be dead in a few hours.

I've had the device for only nine days and I'm already having battery problems. If this continues (I have it back on the charger) it will make the Blaze unuseable. Was there a large update or something last night that could have caused it to drain a lot of the battery? Or could I just have a defective unit?

It could be defective. You might try letting it the battery die completly and then recharging it to full. Sometimes if you charge a battery too often it affects how long the charge lasts.
