I'm 2 months out of warranty and my battery will not last more than 8 hours. That's with brightness on auto, BT off, heart rate off, and no syncing. I realize you haven planed obsolescence in your products, that goes without saying. But 2 months out of warranty ... Really?
I'm a first time customer and do enjoy tracking my steps at work at heart rate during workouts. The other social features make the blaze and fitbit as a company easy to buy. My wife liked the features of the Blaze and after her surge HR fell apart with 13 months she upgraded.
Not very happy with my $220 smart watch that lasted through warranty. Anybody have a solution that isn't buying another Blaze? I'm quite handy and would happily replace the battery myself if one is available.

So I am now on my 3rd fitbit. One original and 2 warranty units. The second unit had a separate issue where the screen would scroll constantly. This 3rd one has been ok for a while. Sometimes holds a 2-3 day charge, some charges last 24 hours.
I'm going to hard reset it the next time I get a short charge and then charge it the way a CS rep said to and see what happens.
The worst part is I feel naked without it. I tried to let it go and be done with a fitbit...... Not so easy..

So glad to read that my husband and I are not the only ones to have the same issues with the Blaze. We both started having battery issues the exact same week and our Fitbits are 18 months old. We have contacted customer service and received the same instructions that everyone has shared previously. I have spoken directly with customer service and they were not particularly helpful. I am convinced that Fitbit may have a programmed obsolescence with the battery in the Blaze. I agree—spend $200 x 2 on a Blaze for it to last less than 2 years. We too were offered the 25% discount but not sure I want to go that direction. This is so frustrating!!

Yes contacted 'support team' and chatted with a live agent. Your product is inferior. You are in a watch market. Nobody throws away $200 watches after 2 years, that's why there are $10 watches. And even in those it is easy to change the battery! So offer a battery replacement program, it doesn't have to be free, just reasonable.
My battery doesn't last 12 hours anymore. In looking into this a little deeper, it becomes apparent we have all been taken for an expensive ride. The batteries fitted in these trackers, made in China, are good for about 150-200 charge cycles. This built-in obsolescence means that these trackers were never designed to last longer than 2 years. I have already suggested that fitbit starts at least offering a battery replacement service, since even in today's throwaway's society, this life expectancy is quite frankly, unacceptable. I would never have bought this thing if I knew it would only last a maximum of two years. The offer of a 25% 'amazing and generous' discount on a new and upgraded tracker is not attractive at all, since the profit margin on this type of hardware is above 60% so they are only making 35% off us when we foolishly bite on that offer. I am sorry but that i-watch is starting to look pretty good if that is the best fitbit can do. The slogan 'ditch the bit' is going to cost fitbit reputation and sales...
