Blaze call notifications not working

when i receive a phone call my blaze doesnt do anything until after the call and i get a notification of a missed call any ideas anybody as this is a must feature for me at work.

What pgone do you have?  This is actually 80% of the notifacation link.

There are many thongs to check on the phone . The tracker can be restarted,  and swipe down on the screen to see if this option is turned on. 

For me my atm buggers before the pgone rings

I just got my Fitbit blaze today it's charged and I'm excited to use it however not a techie and agree with comment -

As mine does not show phone calls either nor does it alert of:

my calendar appts or other alerts ...just gives text alerts 

Do any of you know how to get the apps to show up on the Fitbit blaze? My Bluetooth on and sync with Fitbit blaze And Fitbit App

agsin I'm not a Techie and Chronic Lyme Disease with Disability so having this Fitbit is great to keep moving and going -  could benefit from advice from other Fitbit  Blaze users who are techies ANd Can kindly  explain how to do all alert features

If your trackers are not receiving notifications, first you have to check if your phone is a compatible mobile device. If it is and you are using an Android device, follow @MarreFitbit's instructions in the My tracker isn't receiving notifications (Android Fitbit app) post and if you are using an iOS device follow @SantiR's instructions in the Not Receiving Notifications on your iOS device? post.

I love mybrand new FitBit Blaze 

im so new to it and not a Techie 

mom physically disabled with serious late stage disease and young so I'm not letting that stop me!

 This FitBit keeps me motivated ESP with my fun Latin music to keep moving best I can

I do have some questions 

I'll ask one timely one now- 

if you can please kindly help me with-

** How do I track my sleep on my FitBit Blaze Watch?

I do have iPhone 6+/6S+ so iOS or whatever you call systems are compatible with FotBit Blaze.

You are welcome @Stephiemermaid. I would like to know if you are now able to receive calls and texts notifications after trying the troubleshoot provided? 

Regarding to your questions, the Fitbit Blaze have the auto sleep detection, which means that you just need to wear your tracker while sleeping and at the moment of syncing you will be able to see this data from a computer or your iOS Fitbit app. 

About pull up the contacts, no, the Blaze doesn't have an option to do this but if you have any other idea to share, I recommend visiting our feature suggestions board.

thank you yes got the call notifications and texts and email notifications

jyst have iOS iPhone no laptop other than nook Samsung reader so synched to phone with Fitbit App

Some other questions please need answers to please:

1. Is there a way to add dancing as workout exercise feature or Zumba ?

Dont know what exercise Chouce to choose for Cardio Zumba Stretchercise dancing which re what I am able to do ? Any suggestions?

2. When should i be charging the Fitbit? Charged my first day upon receipt on last Sunday for 2 hours  - 

Di full charging take 2 hours?

Hard to tell on Battery light-colored icon when it's supposed to be charged?

3. Got text that said im updated to "Jogger"  on community - I don't know what this means ?

4. Can you please tell me How do I Best clean the screen so it does not scratch or be smudged?

5. BTW do you woyfor FitBit or are part of community?

ps- be good idea to have way to pull up phone contacts list

Those are good news @Stephiemermaid, it's great to hear that you are now receiving notifications! 

Yes, you can manually log the activity Zumba by doing the following from your iOS Fitbit app:

1. Tap the "+" icon
2. Tap Track Exercise
3. Tap Log
4. Enter the activity
5. Enter the information
6. Tap add

The battery of the Blaze lasts up to 5-7 days, I charge mine every week for 2 hours. You can charge yours at the moment of seeing the battery icon in the upper left corner and you can tell that it is fully charged when you the the full battery icon on the tracker's display. 

Jogger means the level of member that you have on the Community, you can see this under your user name. To take a better care of your tracker, you can check our wear and care article. Can you please be more specific about the question No. 5? And as recommend, please visit our feature suggestions board and share your ideas.

I still can't figure out how to add dance 

I tried Your helpful tip however blaze saying only choices of weights, walk, workout etc... won't let me customize and add Dance or Zumba etc...

can we manually add? Or only pre select choices listed ?

Akso how do people like you and others in Fitbit community add photo icon to your username?

Hi there @Stephiemermaid. Let me give you a hand with this 🙂

For adding "Dancing" or "Zumba" be sure to tap on the + sign in the middle bottom button on the dashboard. Here choose "Track Exercise". At the top of the screen you will have two options, one saying Track and one saying Log. Select Log. You will see a search bar underneath the "Track-Log" options. Type in Dancing or Zumba and select the option that you want to use. Then make sure to enter the starting time and the duration. After that, the activity should appear.

Now, for adding an icon to your Community profile. In the app, tap on the Account section at the bottom right corner. Tap on your name at the top and then tap on "Edit Your Profile". Tap where it says "Edit Photo" and you will be able to take a photo or choose a photo from your library.

Once you've saved the changes, after a while, you will see your photo showing in the Community as well.

Can you please help walk thru simple steps so I can have that helpful feature back?

There was a direct email to me that I reached Marathon

and in this forum site that I only have iPhone to access it has envelope about Jogger Badge?

tried zumba thing -  think I added it to Fitbit app on my iphone 

however dont get how i record it during Zumba so it shows up on my actual Fitbit Blaze?

Also don't know why my texts and other notifications aren't showing up and where to fix that

I have the same problem since I bought my blaze last year. I completely rely on call notifications most of the time except when I am wearing my Bluetooth. I miss most of my calls. I am thinking about buying a Samsung gear fit. Everything else in this fitbit blaze is perfect and I hate to throw it out but I have tried everything possible over the last year to fix this problem with no positive results

No notifications for me at all on my Samsung Galaxy S8. Not working on my Wifes S7 either. It did work for her before.
