Blaze draining almost immediately.

Hi.

I have had my blaze for a few months now, but recently it stopped tracking my sleep, heartbeat and active minutes.  I reset it a couple of times, but it made no difference, then one day it all started working again, so I thought it was just a small glitch.  However, I charged it two nights ago and the battery was dead this morning (I've not been very active in that time).  This morning I put it on charge and it said it was fully charged.  I put it back on my wrist and now the battery has died again!  Literally seconds after it was taken off charge!  Can anyone help?

Huh, that's pretty strange @emcs. I'm sorry you're having problems with the battery not lasting as it should on your tracker 😕

I can recommend putting it to charge and once it's fully charged, take it off the cradle and put it on. Sync it and use it as you would normally do. Make sure to sync it frequently after this so that the battery levels are recorded on the app logs and once the battery dies, let me know so that I can take a closer look and then we can move forward with other options to get you back on track.

I'll be waiting for your reply. Welcome to the Community Forums! 🙂

I'm having this exact same problem with my blaze!
It's been on charge since 7.30am this morning and is still on red.
As soon as I remove it from the holder it dies!

Hi there @Everetta. Welcome to the Community Forums!

That's pretty strange... Could it be that the charger is damaged and the tracker is not charging properly? Whenever you put it to charge, is it able to charge all the way or it will take very long for it to do so or it doesn't charge at all now?

If you're able to fully charge it, look at the suggestion of syncing it constantly after that so that our team can investigate.

Let me know if you need anything else!

It was on medium/full battery when I went to bed last night.
I woke up (and was late for work as the fitbit was displaying the time an hour and a half behind!) and it was on medium/low. I pluged it in and the usual battery appeared with a single red bar. I cannot see any way that my charger would have been damaged whilst I was sleeping (It charged fine yesterday and the charger has not moved since).
I took it to work and by the time I got there it was dead (3 mins travel time).
It has been on charge all day and it is not holding any charge at all. I have tried 3 different wall plugs and two computers for charging.I have managed to sync a couple of times whilst on charge and the sync info says my battery is medium yet as soon as I take it out of the charger it dies.

Wow, that's really strange for sure @Everetta.  Thanks for getting back and letting me know  this.

I can suggest restarting your tracker and see if this makes any difference. You can easily do this by pressing the left and lower right buttons for 10-12 seconds. This will make your tracker to reboot.

After that, put it to charge and see if it's able to charge to the fullest and once you take it off, how long it takes for the battery to die. It's very important for you to sync your tracker immediately after taking it off the charger and constantly until the battery dies for our team to be able to see the battery levels and see what could be going on.

I'll be looking forward for your reply!

I can't get it to reboot, I have had it on charge for 19 hours and the battery is still on a red. The battery dies immediately as it is taken off of the charger.
I have videos that I can send to the support team if that would provide insight?

I noticed this morning that my FitBit Blaze was not monitoring my heart rate. I reboot it. Nothing. It still wouldn't monitor my heart rate. It had half battery life. Then about 10:30 this morning it went into the red. So I went home to grab my charger. I charged it for awhile. The battery went back up to half. Then when I put it back on and went back to my desk. It was in the red again. I think it may be the charger. I don't have a spare so I am unable to tell if  this is the problem. Any other ideas about what's wrong?

My Blaze is fully charged. We shall see if it stays charged. Heart rate monitor not working.

It did not stay charged over night. I had to charge it again this morning. It's fully charged again. The hear rate monitor does not work and the sleep part did not work

Hi. I did what you suggested. I charged it, then when it wasn't fully charged, synced it straight away. By the time it synced (which was about 30 secs) it said the battery was dead. It is definetly charging, it seems to be when it comes off charge that there is a problem.

I also have a problem with the time being wrong as well. I have rebooted it a few times and still having problems!

Mine has been doing the exact same thing. I can't keep it charged.

Mine won't sync either as the time stays behind often. This has to be a blue tooth/app error? Maybe they need to do updates?

I am having the same issue. Bought a Blaze last May, good until last week. Fully charged battery drained in hours, which used to sustain 4-5 days before. Tried all the solutions from helper center but did not work.

I had a similar experience.  I placed my Blaze on charge yesterday.  I synced it last night and this morning I work to a red blinking battery.  I never had the battery expire before after one day of use.  I would appreciate knowing if there is a fix for the issue.  Thanks for your assistance.  I have the Blaze back on the charger now

I contacted Fitbit by telephone and they are sending me a replacement. My Blaze was still under warranty.

There has to be some sort of bug.  I have had the exact same thing.  I escalated and their solution is now to determine if I am still under warranty ,but i don't think I am.  So many people having the same issue, should be a flag something is up.  I really don't want to have to buy another one.  I have been a long time fit bit user.
